I first went to Sekander with a group of workmates and did not realise what a treat I was in for. Situated off The Allerton Road across from the library, Sekander looks like a small establishment but it actually stretches back quite far and is over two floors.

The menu at Sekander is extensive with choices to satisy lots of different tastes. As a vegetarian I was pleasantly surprised and delighted by the variety of delicious vegetables in my curry. In my regular curry haunts I am usually contented to eat veggie curries consisting of cauliflower, peas and potatoes but a Sekander curry is crammed full of more exciting vegetables including aubergine, courgette and fancy mushrooms.

The staff at Sekander are very friendly and helpful and we found the decor to be modern and tasteful.

Another bonus of eating at Sekander as well as affordable prices is the bring your own bottle policy which means visits to Sekander are not limited to special occassions.
