Reviews for Magnet
Magnet on Hardman Street in Liverpool city centre is a great place for a chilled or quiet night out – at the ancient age of 36 even I don’t feel out of place here. The lighting is subtle and quite dark in places (always a good thing I feel ) and the atmosphere is always friendly. A great place to chill and have a few beers also prices are great and are reasonable considering the bars location.
Music is up to date but bearable for the oldies.
A great place for early evening drinking in peace as it tends to only really fill up after the pubs empty out around 11 pm.
All in all 5*****
Teh magbet is one of my favourite bars in liverpool. Its allways free to get in upstairs but varies downstairs depending what bands/djs/parties are on down there! The magnet has an eccelectic mix of music from hip-hop, drum and base through to live african drums, it all depends!
There are 3 bars in total in the magnet, two downstairs and one upstairs all themed a bit like an american diner, with red leather covered booths to sit in.
Did i mention that the magnet is open till 5 am at the weekends? Surprisingly a bar open till 5am with no entry fee is not the drunken brawl fest you might expect .. must be the doormen they use as i have never seen any trouble.
I recommend it so look out for a night thats going to suit you and give it a go.
