Located in the business district of Liverpool, Piccolino is in the middle of the posher restaurants in the city centre. Very cosy, nicely decorated and modern but rustic. Great for a meal with friends, or romantic friends. A man greated us in Italian, and barely spoke English all evening! When he did, it was with an accent, but it did make the place seem wholly Italian. Unlike your typical posh restaurant, Piccolino is big on portions and your big plate is full with food. Food is presented very well and food is of good quality, the chicken I had was good! Just about affordable for students, but food was worth every penny! Good friendly service, good menu range, great for special occasions.
