Hope Street, Liverpool, L1 9BW

Opened in 2001, Ego is located next to the Philharmonic Hall, making it popular with pre-theatre diners. The large glass window allows the natural light to flood in and accompany the Mediterranean cuisine. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing.

Reviews for Ego

Just another chain Very average. Lacks any creative ambience. Staff pleasant

Situated on Hope Street Ego is handy for the Philharmonic Hall, Everyman Theatre and Unity Theatre and is an ideal choice for a pre-theatre meal. It's a medium sized restaurant serving a wide range of Mediterranean style food. It is a warm and welcoming place with excellent staff, suitable for a romantic night out or a meal with friends.
The food is mid priced with starters ranging from about £3-£6 and main courses about £9-£15. The menu is fairly extensive and everything I have tried so far has been delicious.
They do a great deal on a Monday night of a two course meal, plus a bottle of wine each for £17 per person.
