Reviews for Everyman Bistro

Nice setting, on a great street too. The crowd are a nice Bo'ho, arty type gang. Found the food to be a bit pricey for a hot dinner quick serve gaff, probably would not go back for a main meal again. the puddings however! Real good selection.....and i think the tea and coffee are on free re-fill.Don't hold me to that though. The Tea was not that great ...served in big bowl like cups, so it goes cold if you know what i mean. This place always has a relaxed atmosphere, makes me feel ok. Best thing about the place is the people you will meet...full of arty studenty, intellectual, well read types. bit pretentious and contrived but nether the less a nice place to be. They always have decent live music on too. Also they have a nice display of decent art dotted around the place like a gallery.

The Everyman Bar and Bistro is quite simply a home from home. The food is good, and served until 10pm (with soup and cheese available later than that if the staff are feeling kind), with a great selection of pizza, quiche, salad, hot dishes, soups, snacks, and amazing cakes.
Hot drinks get a free refill - if only the bar did too....
At least they usually have a great selection of ales, beers and ciders, and friendly, knowledgeable staff to serve them.
It can get busy on Friday nights, but there's plenty of seating and the crowds often thin out when the theatre goers leave. Apparently they even do a supper club!
Can't recommend this place enough.

Back in the day this was the ultimate trendy place to be for any true Brookside fan as cast members were seen there frequently - but having stood the test of time the everyman bistro but not the soap still stands. Always serving good food if slightly pricey and a trendy / neater dressed student / bohemian ambiance the bistro is always worth a visit. Great for a quick before show drink and if you are fast then in the interval too. But this place is best served for those long decadent sessions that don’t happen too often but are worth it when the do!!!

The everyman bistro is a great little place for food and drink. with eerything brought locally and allways fresh you just cant say anything bad about the food at the everyman, for a bistro at least. although the food isnt't allways my cup of tea those of you who like bistro food will find it ideal and well priced. The bar is well stocked and being independant has an everchanging guest beers, ciders and whiskeys. I can highly recommend heading to the everyman for sampling soem fine independant ales .. but be warnned the draft cider is extremly cheap, extremly strong and great tasting2
