Have only been to Garlands for students night, and they are quite decent. Not as good as Medication or Mischief, but depends what type of music you’re into. Defo one for the more trendy here! The drinks are cheap during the week, but on a weekend when it’s about £6 to get in the prices go right up!
Great if you like dance music, there is an upstairs room with stages, a downstairs room with a few raised platforms to dance on and a hidden room where you can sit and relax. It’s huge and always packed, and has a good atmosphere. Meant to be a gay bar but I don’t think many people in there are gay! The bars are huge, so no huge queues, and there’s a cloakroom if you need one.

Garlands is an institution in liverpool, as the place to go for the gay crowd. If your put off by that, dont be, garlands is one of the best houce clubs in liverpool, large and well presented garlands has a great party atmosphere. So leave your pre-conceptions at the door and throw yourself into the light hearted entertainment that is garlands. across the road you'll also find the g-bar which stays open all hours to placate those partieres who dont wnat to stop when garlands closes for the night.
