The Krazyhouse is one of the more established and diverse night clubs in Liverpool, open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. There are three independent floors, each with its own separate DJ and musical influence.

Reviews for The Krazyhouse

Unmissable, The Krazyhouse is colourfully painted on the bottom of Wood Street. Once inside, the music makes you feel like you're back in the 1990s with popular tunes that make you reminisce of your youth. However, there is generally taste to suit all.

I don't think there are many clubs in Liverpoool which are bigger than the Krazyhouse aka K/Kray. Predominately a rock club, K1 is your headbanging metal rock scene, K2 on the 2nd floor gives you supposedly indie/emo/nu-wave, usually a mixture of new and old. K3 on the 3rd floor is your boost of cheese and queeze. Bon Jovi, Take That, Dirty Dancing and Grease Lightning galore. Most people should be able to have a decent time at the K.

As it has nights on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I believe the music varies on floor to floor so some of these genres may swap depending on the day. There are also monthly all-nighters where you can stay until 5 or 6am if you're that hardcore!

A rather big variety in age from the students to the really old men, generally leaning on the weird side. The place is also very dark and the floor is sticky. Be careful on what you sit on, you can't see what's on the floor! There is also a strange musty smell, the place probably isn't often ventilated.

Drinks are reasonably priced, often with 241 offers although not sure if these still run nowadays. Entrance is £2 if you're early, up to £4/5 after midnight, and around £5 for an allnighter.

One other thing, the toilets are rank. There is often a flood of water all over the floor, the toilets leak, most of them have broken seats, and it's all a pretty grotty experience. I hear the men have it worse though. You get used to it, or learn to hold..

Overall, the Kray is often a decent night out for those that want alternative music. There isn't much choice in Liverpool. I often bounce from the K to Le Bateau and back. The only difference being Le Bateau seems to be more catered for the nu-indie wave scene of youngsters and the K for the older.. Don't come to this place too many times in a row as it will get repetitive. If you go once in a while, you will have a pretty amazing night!

The K is probably the most random bar in Liverpool haha there’s three floors with something different every night. Only been on a thurs or fri when it’s gothy and rocky on k1, indie on k2 and cheese on k3! Drinks are really cheap, usually always a queue though. Would recommend going the toilets early on as they get into a bit of a state towards the end of the night! Loads of places to sit down, and there’s pool tables and arcade games. There’s also a mini café where you can get a burger then carry on dancing! No need to dress up in here, no dress codes and, as it tends to get seriously hot, most good clothes will get ruined! It’s a good laugh though, and open late, sometimes with all nighters.

Always my night out of choice in Liverpool, due to the playing of metal, rock and indie music.

It's a really nice crowd who go there, very studenty and relaxed I find. The club is across three floors, K1, K2 and K3 - plenty of music to choose from and bars to visit.

Drinks are cheap, though (as my friend bemoans) they don't serve any wine. Personally that's not a problem.

As far as standard stuff goes, there are plenty of toilets though the paper runs out early (!), there is food available and a cloakroom. Also pool tables and loads of places to sit.

If you want a cheap night out with excellent music and no need to tart yourself up to the nines this is for you.

This club is in the middle of Liverpool, right by Liverpool Central station!
It has three floors full of Different music to suit all!
Its open thursday, friday and saturday! The first floor is normally metal, 2nd floor is indie/rock and punk and the 3rd floor is Cheese and dance music.
The club is open 10pm-3/4am and once every month a all nighter open till 5pm.
The drinks are really cheap and the bar is massive so you dont have to que long. It has plenty of bottles, beers, shots and spirits.
Its really cheap to get in, its even cheap er if you go in b4 11pm.
I would deffo recommend this place to anyone and its all different on every floor.

The krazyhouse was my favourite club for about 3 years. You can take anyone there because they have 3 floors, each with different music. How great is that?! The top floor, K3, plays dance/chart music. The middle floor, K2, plays indie music and the ground floor, K1, plays rock/metal. They also have pool tables and a small cafe where they serve chips, burgers etc. I spotted Bill Bailey playing pool there one night, it was a bit surreal!

They used to have a 2 for 1 deal on all drinks (ah, those were the days!) but it's still really cheap anyway. It's a very studenty crowd and I felt old the last time I went but you do have loads of fun there and one of the brilliant things is that if they play something you don't like, all you have to do is go to another floor and carry on :D Give it a try!
