Situated in West Derby village and surrounded by lots of pubs so great for a mini pub crawl! Also next to a chippy, off license and bank so everyhing you need, and right next to local bus stops and a taxi rank! But if you're driving there's loads of places to park and it's a decent area so you don't need to worry about your car! Inside is spacious, with plenty of chairs and tables. The bars runs right round the middle so it's easy to get served. The prices are reasonable, and there's always a good atmosphere when a match is on! Toilets are clean, staff are friendly and I've never seen any trouble in there!

A fantastic pub with a great atmosphere.

This pub is situated a few doors down from a cash machine which in my opinion is a necessity - after all nobody wants to talk 15mins in the cold when you run out of money halfway through a night.

The car park is big and spacious meaning you nearly always get a space. The place itself is fantastic inside and has had a lot of work done to it making it more inviting and more 'homey'.

The beers available all taste great as does the house wine. The food is also lovely, the nicest thing about the Hare and Hounds is the romantic and ambient mood it gives off at a certain point in the evening when the lights are dimmed ever so subtely.

A fantastic pub, great staff, always a really good atmosphere - and no idiots (well not that i've seen anyway.)
