Baa Bar

Reviews for Baa Bar
This place used to always be part of the Saturday night bar crawl round the city centre, especially for its choice of cheap shots. They have a massive menu of shots, all made up of different flavours and colours. They are all quite fun and make a good feature for the night out. I think they do deals if you buy a few at a time (i might be wrong, but i'm sure they have some offers on a tickertape screen above the bar). The bar always gets packed at the weekend, it is on a couple of levels. The interior is a bit messy but fun, with disco balls and bright colours everywhere. It definitley has a sort of charm too it and is loved by the locals.
This is the best and cheapest place in liverpool for the greatest range of shots ever! There are all kinds of £1 shots on offer here, mini versions of cocktails etc. much cheaper than other places such as revolution where shots are £3+
A large area and bar downstairs and 2 large bars upstairs. It gets quite busy but bouncers do limit the numbers. It is popular with locals and students alike, there is a small outdoor area whcih is good in the summer.
You can hire out the upper level for private functions etc. and have had many a good party in here!!
Good music always played!! Go! You'll love it!
Baa bar has the best shots in town in my opinion. There is a huge selection, and some of them will get you extremely drunk (black assassin!) while others just taste nice (baa berry!) And all for just a pound each! Music is usually dancey, with two floors playing different stuff. Think there's also a rock night, used to be on a monday but not sure now! Weekends are usually very busy, but it's free entry! Upstairs has two bars, so not much queuing time. Drinks can be expensive if you're drinking bottles and spirits, but sometimes they have offers on the cheaper brands.
I remember finding this place randomly one evening, walking with my friend on a monday night. Its situated near the liverpool barfly and up the road from the krazyhouse.
We went in there because we heard some really loud punk music,so we decided to go find out where it was coming from.
Its on two floors and its free to get in. Downstairs is more glam with a fancy bar, we went upstairs and its a big room with a outside terrance. Theres alot of cool artwork on the wall of all alternative people.
There was plenty of tables to chill out on and a dancefloor.
Bottles were £1.50 and there was a massive shot menu all priced at £1. It was pretty packed for a monday night and you could request anything you wanted.
A great night out for a monday!
When I was still living in Liverpool, this used to be a pit stop for me and my friends between drinking at home and getting into a club. Topping up with a shot (or 5!) helped us on our merry way, for sure. They have a shot bar with about 50 different ones, pictures all displayed on a large canvas on the wall. I vaguely recall my favourite one was called a slippery nipple! Lol. In the day time, it functions as a friendly café. A fun place to include in a night out but not too keen on the unisex toilets!
