Wow this place was fantastic, can't believe it still existed. It has paintings actually done by John, George and Paul which you can go right up to, the place is full of 60's history and every beatles fan should go.
This place is magic, you have to see it to believe it. As well as the Beatles buzz you get a real nice tour from a member of the lovely best family. This is not to be missed, Best tourist attraction in liverpool. You hear an amazing story of such an amazing place, it is so unbelievably amazing that you will never be amazed at anything else again. It is definitley worth finding - look it up, they have a website.
This place should be there on your beatles tour along with the cavern, strawberry fields etc.

    BEATLES BEATLES BEATLES

This is a 60's nightclub in the basement of Pete best's (the sacked drummer from the Beatles) mum's house. the property is still owned by the best family and you will get a personal tour of the club from a member of the family.

Come by and hear the fascinating, heartwarming story of the lovely Mona Best and how she helped get the Beatles on their road to stardom.

    long story short...
The year is 1959 and Mona best (Pete's Mum) decides to let George Harrison put a band together to be the residents of this new coffee club for the youth of Liverpool to enjoy. He brings along Paul McCartney and John Lennon. They all helped out with their girlfriends and Pete best and his brother Rory to fix up the cellars in Mono's house. Each Beatle painted a ceiling in a room, and these ceilings survive immaculate as the day of creation as the club closed it's doors after only a few years business because mona fell pregnant. See the spider room painted by Pete Best, the star ceiling painted by all the Beatles, the rainbow ceiling by Paul Mccartney and the aztec ceiling by John Lennon.

This is what Sir Paul McCartney has to say about the club...

“I think it’s a good idea to let people know about the Casbah. They know about the Cavern, they know about some of those things, but the Casbah was the place where all that started. We helped paint it and stuff. We looked upon it as our personal club.” Sir Paul McCartney.

This hidden treasure is a must for all Beatles fans, it is the Tutankhamun's tomb of liverpool, or more like the Sistine Ceiling!.

See it before it is too late.
