When i was living in Linlithgow this was my favourite pub. Im am in my early/mid 20's. Reason i liked it so much was that during the week it was fairly quiet and relaxed. It also has a pool table, one of the few pubs in the area to have one. Prices are also fairly well priced also.
Fairly recently it has gone under new ownership and was refurbished inside and also included the addition of lunches. I had one and was very impressed.
On the weekends it is definately busier but...

Younger people arrive in at the weekends and are a bit loud.
So good during week and during day but not a fan during the evening weekends.
