Sandinista is the best bar in Leeds hands down. Friendly and helpful staff delivering great drinks in an atmospheric setting. At the weekend its electric, attracting a full house of down to earth people there for the great vibe and brilliant DJs which adds up to a top night every time.

Have to mention the food too. Best tapas in Leeds, great value and a cracking accompanying wine list to boot!

It's a shame this place is so small as it's SUCH a good night out and their business would be booming if they had bigger premises! Great for a bite to eat during the week or for excessive drinking at the weekend!

The place has got character and regularly has live bands playing, the atmosphere is absolutely electric, though it can get uncomfortably busy i.e. absolutely rammed.

Sandinista's really nice to go to for a few glasses of wine, or a few more and the custom is usually really nice so you're guaranteed to bump into friendly people. I hate moving on from this place as I could stay all night, the music is great, to coincide with the amazing atmosphere.

Nice on a weekday evening for a quiet drink, on the weekends Sandinista transforms and is absolutely rammed. People love it though, and even though it's so busy you'll get lifted off your feet by the crowd, it's a great night out.

True story: A woman pushing past at the bar literally pushed me over with her boobs.
