Worthwhile. A little out of the way at the "bottom" end of town but also next to a couple of good eating places. Resonably priced drinks and live music add to the benefits.

Having been to The Wardrobe a number of times it has become one of my favourite places to go to chill out with a few mates. The bar itself is very nice and they have a very wide variety of drinks to choose from. Although it is a bit on the expensive side it more than makes up for it with relaxed and chilled out atmosphere.

As well as this they also have live music in the basement from bands all over the world, although it costs extra to see the bands it has always been worth it for me anyway.

There are loads of good live bands that are booked here regularly. I especially like the world bands that come and play. The food isnt that great and is expensive, as are drinks. Sometimes there is free entry but when theres a band on I dont mind paying as some of it will go to the musicians.

On two floors, bar, restaurant & club downstairs, you can make this venue your whole night out without having to trundle all over Leeds!

The punters are a mixed bag from professionals to students to pre & post theater goers. Never any trouble, the staff are friendly & helpful... ask for a Polish Martini at the bar... it will make the barman’s day!

The music is often retro with some of the best live bands from all over the world playing music that you can actually dance to. Hopping between the club & bar upstairs for a breather (& sometimes quicker bar service as it quietens down upstairs - cheeky tip!) is a great way to ‘mini date’ that hottie you just danced with ;-)
