SwinegateBlayds Court, Leeds, LS1 4AG

Chaophraya is named after the main waterway that runs through the central region of Thailand, and in ancient days served as life to the Thai people who lived along its banks. Both the interior and exterior of Chaophraya has been designed from specially imported relics from Thailand to give customers an insight into the unique world of Thai craftsmanship. Walking up the stairs to the main entrance, you are greeted by an image of Buddha in his worship hut, blessing you with good health and prosperity. Inside the restaurant, a large waterfall is the centrepiece of the 120 cover dining area, where delicious authentic Thai cuisine is served.

Reviews for Chaophraya

Went here for our anniversary dinner. It was really good to step in, just had the right Thai/Exotic feel to it without beeing too cheesy. The food is gorgeous, and being South East Asians who are not new to Thai food, we can say that the ones that we sampled tasted really authentic. Presentation was also great - just the right touch of class and sophistication.
Overall, it was a great experience. Would like to come here during the summer to experience the feeliong of having meals out al-fresco. Highly suggested! PS: It is slightly expensive compared to the rest of the Thai restaurants here in Leeds.
