  Disappointing

  Current

  As much as I love and defend Flares at every given opportunity, the one in Leeds is definitley a disappointment.
  
  Ultimately it is just too small. It takes absolutely ages to get to the bar, and when you eventually do you are greeted by rude staff who don't give a crap about you or their job. Also the toilets are situated in a stupid place, and again the queue is always huge.
  
  On a plus side, it is filled with the typical cheese of Flares; mirrors, flashing floors, afros, and good old seventies music.
  
  If you enjoy the music and the atmosphere you usually find in your nearest Flares, I'm sorry to say that you won't find the same experience in Leeds. You spend most of your time trying to get through crowds and avoiding getting trampled upon.

  Seventies music is bad enough. I never wanted to go in here for that very reason, but a few times I've not had much option.
  
  The first thing I noticed is the sticky floor, it's hard to move, they need to employ Rentakil to flush the place out.
  
  Also, it's cramped. It's full of teenage girls and 50 something men ogling them. It's also full of 50 something women thinking they can pull the young lads that go in there to laugh at them.
  
  The bar has a poor range of drinks and is overpriced. The dj looks rediculous and the guys who hang around the back of the room (near the toilets) aren't the most friendly looking bunch. But I think you can buy things from them...
