Reviews for Harvey Nichols Espresso Bar
My wife always takes me in here after she has finished shopping and i am carrying all her bags! :( It is a lovely place to go and treat yourself to a cappucino and a slice of carrot cake. They have very comy chairs in here you don't want to get up when it's time to go! :) I think it is quite expensive in here but the wife loves it so that gives me a quiet life! It looks very posh inside so i think although it is expensive it is very luxury. It is always kept clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly.
Well, you wouldn't come here for a quick cup of tea on your lunch break, would you - it's for a special little treat, say with your mum!
The venue is gorgeous with the beautiful surroundings of Victoria Quarter. The drinks and food are lovely if a little pricey - but worth it - and the staff are extremely attentive, polite and well turned out.
Facilities are excellent, with clean tables, comfy chairs and an excellent loos.
Worth it for a treat when shopping - go on, treat your mum/gran!
The snacks and coffee here taste quite good, but I would sooner go to Costa Coffee. Here you get good service, but I dont like being sat in between shops and there are so many people walking past it isnt very relaxing.
The setting is sublime, you sit amid the footballer wife shoppers in the victoria Quarter. here you are in the perfect position to assess the perma tan's and fake hair and nails.
to accompany your people watch you might like to take afternoon tea here. It's pricey, but well worth it. Tea and cakes and scones (yes the 'perfect' accompanyment to cakes; more cakes!) make up a little afternoon decadence. I highly recommend opting for the champagne option. Hey if you're going to hang out amongst such pretentiousness you may as well do it in style. And do it in style myself and my dining companion did. You get an awful LOT for just the two of you, so skip lunch and you certainly shall not need dinner. Instead a nice hazy sugar high takes hold as you can gently roll your way back into the main Harvey Nic's store to stare some more at last seasons Gucci leather jacket and sample some scent from the over orange cosmetic counter ladies.
No need to spend any more; afternoon tea is enough to begin to break the bank and is less likely to be left in the back of the wardrobe.
Another less costly decadence that i've also enjoyed are the date flapjacks. And if you so wish you can order these with champagne too.
