The Arc is huge! Located next to the Lounge cinema in Headingley, a stones throw from the cricket ground. It has sumptuous leather seating and a covered outdoor balcony type seating area so the smokers are not banished outside! The food here is delicious, I highly recommend the chicken and bacon bbq burger which comes served on a funky chopping board with a little tin bucket of chips and baby gem lettuce with coleslaw. To finish the warm chocolate brownies with cream go down an absolute treat. Not the cheapest place in the world (burger for 2 and dessert, 2 soft drinks around 25 pounds) but well worth it. Just try not to time it for the day when all the students arrive (they'll all be in with their parents). Give them a few weeks though and they'll need a job if they want to continue eating at this brilliant bar.
