The Palace is a good old fashioned pub with plenty of well kept and constantly changing real ales. There's a good relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seats inside and out. The bar does get busy at peak times though.

The Palace is on the edge of Leeds city centre and is near the bus station.

When I think of bus stations I normally conjour up thoughts of drunks, tramps and the like. You won't find them in The Palace though.

What you will find is an endless supply of real ale. That alone sells it to me!

Otherwise, there's a pool table, juke box and a weekly quiz night (you'll get told off or chucked out for talking through it).

It's friendly, relaxed and full of folk you can strike up a conversation with at the bar.

Make mine a Yankee.
