Bog standard pub chain food with no variation in menu from venue to venue. Food was good and the atmosphere and decor of the building is very nice and warm

Part of the 'Vintage Inns' chain (a name taken off the walls some years ago following a takeover) and using the slogan "Inn Keeping With Tradition", the Fox is a great place to eat or drink.

With the look of a converted barn, the spacious interior is full of wooden docor, and a relaxed atmosphere.

There's an extensive wine list and a variety of real ales on offer along with some foreign larger on draught.

The food menu is the same accross the chain and changes every six months or so. There is a decent range on offer and it's always cooked with care and with decent sized portions.

The service is good, the server always has a smile and looks happy to be at work.

For me, the thing that makes this pub stand out from the others in the chain is outside the pub.

There's an extensive outdoor seating area which is always jam-packed on hot, sunny days.

With Roundhay Park literally on the doorstep the Fox is a great place to enjoy a cooling & refreshing drink after a walk in the park!
