This is typically a student place to go, if you don't like students stay away. Obviously this is a great place to go if you are a student low drinks prices and great entertainment. There is live music often and always some sort of entertainment to be enjoyed.

Even if there is not anything in particular on that night there is always people to chat to who are there for a laugh. Because it is a student bar the atmosphere is always great and there is never any trouble.

At the end of the day who could ask for more low low drinks prices and great entertainment.

Theres clubs, bars, food, shops and even a hairdressers. Great for students and staff at the uni. Its great for a night out or chilling in the day.

What can be said about a student union that you can't imagine for yourself?

LUU is made up of various venue's, and hosts various events throught the month.

It's famous for hosting live concerts, the biggest of the all was by The Who, who later released an LP, Live In Leeds.

The monthly gothic night, held on the third Saturday of the month, is one of the most popular events and regularly attracts crouds from all over the UK. Before the Stylus Bar (part of LUU) was re-developed a couple of years ago to hold a much bigger croud, it used to sell out each month.
