The Lawnswood Arms does what it says on the tin. It's a pub/restaurant. With chain-pub food.
You find a table, maybe wipe it clean, order at the bar, grab your own cutlery and wait for your meal.
Alright, so I'm not making it sound that good, but it's a decent place to go for a low price, filling meal on your way to somewhere else.
It's a bit out of the way, north of Leeds outer ring road on the way to Otley. I normally stop there when I'm taking my daughter to Golden Acre Park, just a few hundred yards up the road.
It's great for kids. There's an extensive menu, kids drinks behind the bar and even luck bags with colouring books, toys and sweets inside.
There's an outdoor play area and a big indoor playroom, however it's £3 per child to play indoors and only a couple of thinks outside.
A family priced eatary if you're in the area, but don't go out of your way to go here.
