Wheely your spot on here ol chap as you walk in the door you step back 20 years( i love it),we ordered a pizza to share which was very good. Range of beers and whiskies (if thats your bag) was good.Also its a freehouse none of this pub co. crap here.

We called in here 3 months ago for morning coffee, my previous visit was over 30 years before I think !

A seriously good real ale pub with good food and luxury en-suite accommodation. It's a bit of a time warp in many ways, huge open log fire, wood beams and a cat named Eric sound asleep in front of it.

Tourists, just off the A281. NB best to contact them first if it's accommodation you're after as this is the Surrey / Sussex border area and prices can be similar to noughts on the end of your telephone number !!"

ooo i've been here too, good for a 'stop off' on the brighton run between soton and said seaside city!

in the winter, great log fire, and theyll make you whiskey macs if you ask nicely!
