Simply Blues is a lovely intimate restaurant which has a live blues band on a Saturday night. It is very romantic with candle lighting and a flower seller. The food is very good especially the chicken and the steak. The best item on the menu however is the simply delicious a ten pound huge dessert bowl of ice cream for two to share - impossible to get through if there are only two of you!! The music is very good so you do need to book a Saturday night table well in advance. The food is a little on the expensive side but it is perfect for a romantic meal to impress the one you love.

This restaurant is a must go. It has a warm friendly atmosphere, as soon as you walk in you will be greated by the friendly barmen who will take you to your table. The food is delicious. For starter I recommend loaded cheese and bacon potato skins, they are absolutely devine! and for main course I strongly recommend the minute steak with cajun fries. The steak is beautifully tender and melts in your mouth. I also recommend the peppercorn sauce, it is creamy and delicious. If you are not already full up by the delicious meal, there are many desserts to choose from, ranging from ice creams to cakes.

I would definately recommend this restaurant to anyone, the price is good value and is a great family restaurant!

friendly service food is lovely if you like ribs and chicken and burgers they do a special board every day great value for money well worth the trip
