Reviews for Bombay Dream
Absolutely fantastic. Stopped here on the way back from a booze trip to France, location is fantastic too as it is 100yds off the M40 (north) although you have to go along the A40 to/from Wycombe as the exit (3) off the motorway is only to/from London.
The quality of the food was superb and the service was unhurried but attentive. Not a cheap Indian but very reasonable considering the high quality and fresh ingredients. Prawn Pathia Puree £4.95 was an amazing starter and lots of it. Very interesting meals such as Garlic Lobster and Shobuj Murg Curry, with coconut milk and green chillis; but also all the traditional Jalfrezi/Korai/Dhansak/Tandoori/Madras/Vindaloo etc. Both myself and my mate proclaimed this as the best Indian we have ever had (and we have had a few.... he's had more than a few!). Highly recommended if you like well cooked and freshly cooked food that you can actually taste the flavours. Main courses from £7-£19 (most are £7-8), starters £4-5. Most rice £4 (special and mushroom were tried and deliciously fresh and tasty) Flavoured Naans £2.45, we had Peshwari and it was melt-in-the-mouth fresh and soft with very tasty sultana puree in it.
You have got to try this place!!!
