  One of the best pubs in Hereford

  This is one of the best pubs in Hereford in terms of qualify food and drink at reasonable prices and in a good central location.
  
  There is a wide range of food on the menu and it’s surprisingly not just typical stodgy pub grub that is available.
  
  There is also an upstairs that contains a restaurant and is very spacious.
  
  The bar is very small which makes it difficult when there is a large queue for buying drinks. There wasn’t any music when I last went either which makes the atmosphere less lively and vibrant than it would otherwise be.
  
  The people that tend to come here are locals but are all friendly and unpretentious.

  Good pub with good food

  Seems like one of the nicest pubs in hereford this one. Great place to start the night, with good, average priced, traditional herefordshire food and reasonably priced drinks. There is plenty of room in there and it is a very friendly place. It gets very busy in there later on in the night and can get a little packed by the bar, so be prepared to wait a little while for drinks. It is hard to find a decent bar in Hereford, so a lot of people drink here until the jail house is getting going and then head straight there, instead of having to suffer in spoons or dusk!
