I can't say i've ever experienced a meat raffle, and not sure that i want to so i'm glad they don't do it anymore! I've been coming here for a while too and absolutely love it. I have always found it a very welcoming place to go with friends, the regulars are always pleased to see new people and its not the kind of pub you will ever see trouble. The staff are really friendly even when its busy and will always spare time to have a chat with you. The food served is traditional pub food but it tastes great and you get loads!

The best pub by miles in Haywards Heath, I have been drinking here for many years throughout my youth and still pop in when I am in town now. The pub has not changed much over the years, a great place to watch the football on Sky when its on. Bar staff are very friendly and polite. A wicked place to go on Christmas Eve and New Years Eve to boot. A good selection of drinks are available to suit all. It a good pub which is not up itself unlike a few other places along the broadway. If only they still did the Sunday meat raffle, then it would be perfect.
