The Woodman has a local reputation for simplicity, sociability and above all top quality Ales.

I had a pint of IPA that was pure nectar but apparently the real guest ales are worthy of long cross country walks to sample.

Let's hope this pub never gets gentrified as its old fashioned rugged charm and beer garden is a country classic.
