The Balti Hut does a good Chicken Ginger curry,and their Peshwari nan breads are tasty and full of texture.
However,more salt has crept into their cuisine lately,perhaps due to the credit crunch,and the cheap and cheerful dining room often fills up with condensation,as the only heating source is the Balti hob.There is no central heating,adornment or ambience-just basic,wipe clean tables and flooring.If that is "distinctive",it is only because most restaurants make a bit more effort with decor and atmosphere.

This place is so special and good to my friend and I that I didn't want anyone else to know about it! But within the same thought people should know about this place because it has a variety of dishes that are cooked to your satisfaction in terms of texture, taste, and most importantly spice! You must not leave Balti Hut without trying their freshly baked nan bread, it is great as a foundation to eat dishes with. The service is fantastic, and the chefs are in the open kitchen a few steps away from the dining area. This is the kind of place I would sum up as being simple, down to earth, pleasant, original, relaxed, and not over the top with their image. You can take your own wine with you too. If you want a place with great food and a relaxed family atmosphere where you can go with a good friend who appreciates the same things, then this is a place to check out!
