I've been a Brown Sugar customer for some months now, and I've always received the highest level of service. I always notice other customers leaving with a smile on their face, the owner seems to have a great rapport with his customers. Brown Sugar's food is lovely and ooohh so delicious the Jackets are the very best in Harrogate (they've got a proper oven for cooking them to perfection!) Seriously if your on your lunch break go to Brown Sugar it is the best lunch in Harrogate enough said.

This place is without doubt unique, with a friendly atmosphere and fantastic food. The owner truly cares about the customers.

I have been a customer here for four years and I have never experienced them being rude to someone unnecesserily.

To experience their high quality customer service, and attention to detail with all their produts I do suggest you visit Brown Sugar and see what you think? Simlarily, visit their facebook page (Brown Sugar Healthy Food and Beverages appreciation society) Theres some great comments on there. !!!!!!!!!!!! Well done to the owner and his partner. They do such a marvellous job.

This is a real review by a real person. The only other review sounds as if it may have been written by someone with a vested interest? I may be wrong, what do you think?

I went in there today and was thrown out because it wasn't good enough that I only wanted to purchase two drinks and sit with my partner (whose birthday it was) and SHOCK HORROR -JUST DRINK THEM! 'The friendliest guy in the world' insisted I order food at the same time because it was between ? 12 and 3pm? The sign, if there was one, was less than obvious.

I said I just wanted a drink. He said I dont wont to serve you, you have a 'stinky attitude' ALL I HAD TRIED TO DO WAS PUT SOME BUSINESS HIS WAY!

There are enough coffee shops in Harrogate where you do not have to be abused. We went to Betty's and received excellent service for no more than the price we would have spent in Bad Sugar, sorry, Brown Sugar.

HARROGATE IS A SMALL TOWN AND PLACES WILL LIVE AND DIE BY THEIR REPUTATION. THE RELAXING SMOOTHIES BROWN SUGAR OFFER ARE ANYTHING BUT. I DID NOT RING THEIR BELL ON THE WAY OUT TO SAY I WAS SATISFIED WITH THEIR SERVICE.

This is without doubt the best deli/healthy cafe I have ever been in. Brilliant smoothies and amazing fresh sandwiches, toasties and paninis. Its only a small venue but what it lacks in size it makes up for in quality and character. The owner is truly the happiest friendliest guy alive (does he ever have a bad day?) and the staff are all brilliant. Watch out for this guy I can see Brown Sugar becoming the next big thing in fresh healthy food.
