John Carrigan's Eating House is located at the very top end of Hamilton. I went to this restaurant for dinner as part of an anniversary celebration. Before going to the celebration I had never heard of the restaurant before, but I found out what I was missing! The food was absolutely delicious. The prices were reasonable for the huge portions of food that are served. The menu is a mix of British with a bit of Chinese and American. The desserts are as yummy as the main courses. Although you would be lucky to make it to dessert since finishing the main course is a feat in itself. The staff are all friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Members of the party ordered burgers, fish, and curry and all dishes were enjoyed.

If your are ever going to go out for dinner in Hamilton make sure it is John Carrigan's Eating House. The food, service and the place as a whole is totally out of this world.

They cater to just about everyone's tastes, from steak pie to Chinese chicken curry. They cater starters, main meals and a seperate dessert menu. The food potions are enormous and totally worth the money. There can be a wait on your food but when your meal arrives you will understand the reason why. Each dish has been given the care and attention that you want from your meal.

The whole atmosphere is friendly and is combined with the modern and old fashioned tastes. The whole restaurant has been decorated with modern aspects but has a huge coal burning fire to combine the rustic feeling to the restaurant.

The waiters and waitresses are all extremly friendly and the service is out of this world. They pride themselves with their high customer service.
