    Great Trad. village pub

    One of our all time fav.pubs it's got so much space inside it's always clean and tidy,you dont get children running all over the place,staff very friendly,good selection of ales (local ones to)Sunday roasts are really good.It's big enough to do the whole restaurant bit as all country pubs have to now without losing the pub feel.Also it has a skittle ally for private functions.
    Totally recommend this pub.

    Must try harder!

    This is a pub that has great potential, with its size and location. Maybe because it is the only pub in the villages in doesn't feel like it needs to make an effort. The food menu is huge and invariable disappointing and stodgy. On the plus side it stocks a good selection of ales.

    When so many pubs in the area are having or have had a thorough make over The Grantley Arms is an anachronism and without any old world charm.
