One of my favourite pubs in Guildford. This is a fine old fashioned establishment and has a great choice of real ales on the drinking side. While i've always found the meals here to be excellent portions and fine value for money, even a slowish service cannot put me off.

For some completely unfathomable reason this pub has always been one of the best in Guildford - do they know something the rest have yet to learn ? Think I first had a drink in there about 1967 !

I think its partly as they have not messed around with it too much and kept plenty of the old features - including the Jukebox.

Well I have used this place for ''''years and always liked it.Now it's a bit of a shell of it's oldself,most people drink out the back area leaving the inside a little empty.Beers ok I think there where 3 on my last visit a couple of days ago.
Still one of the better pubs in Guildford.

Good pub, packed at the weekends with youngsters but the right kind. Only ever seen any trouble in there once in my 12 years or so of going there.

A nice traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere serving a great range of beers. It could be said to be a little expensive, but it is worth paying that little bit extra.

The last time I visited I met a wonderful old chap who proceeded to guide me through a list of the most interesting sights in the local Surrey area. This quaint gent set the tone for the lovely traditional place.

Do be aware of low ceilings, plus stairs could be a slight problem for those with wheelchairs. However, there is seating which is right by the door so would not be a problem.

Definitely one of the best pubs in Guildford.

Personally i think this is one of the better pubs in Guildford have had a few chill out nights in here.
Royal Oak & Robin Hood the other two i would recommend.

The King's Head has hardly changed in a good few years and remains one of the highlights of a night out in Guildford

Being a foreigner, I have to admit that this is by far the best pub in Guildford...traditional, with excellent atmosphere, Kings head is exactly what I expected from an English pub b4 I came to study in the UK. Don't miss it!
