The Ferry Inn is a charming old riverside pub serving good beer and honest, home-cooked pub grub. The building is steeped in history but sadly the interior was sanitised, probably in the 1970's, into bland nothingness. But don't let this put you off... the food is good, reasonably priced and freshly prepared. The beer is stunningly good; the Adnams is amongst the best I've sampled. The 'Broadside' is a highly recommended pint of Suffolk’s finest falling-down waters.
The location of this pub, being right next to the River Bure, is exceedingly pretty particularly on dry summer evenings when you can enjoy the many outside tables and benches.
Well worth a visit... recommended!
