This is a Fullers pub so if you like their beer you'll like it here as it's well kept, not a eating place more for the drinker.

The previous review hasn't been to the pub for a while going by their comment. The restaurant has gone, it's a traditional pub serving good food and the beer is the best in godalming. The new landlord has changed this pub round.

Yes to the bar and beers. Yes to the pub lunch (not from the restaurant and standard fare but OK).

Major NO to the restaurant (unless it has changed in the last year). The most uncomfortable meal I have ever eaten. The chef sees himself as some gourmet artist and the food is truly awful!! I mean bad, bad, bad!! I was so embarrassed by the size of the ego serving, I didn't have the heart to complain.

Please don't put yourself through it, it is a degrading experience.
