This is my local, we have been using it for atleast 7 years by now and for a good reason. The food is always great and the owner and his staff nearly always acommodates when you want to swap stuff or request something out the ordinary. One of the best things about it is probably that it is located next to Tesco. Place your order, go for a walkabout in Tesco or do some shopping and come back and pick up your food. The only downside is that it gets a tad busy at times but I guess that is a testiment to it's great food.

One of the worst things about moving house is not knowing what the local chinese takeaway will be like. This has to a major consideration to any house move! Thankfully on the 3 occasions I have done this I have landed on my feet and found somewhere that caters for my taste and the Pearl is no different. Conventiently located next to Tesco there is always a welcoming aroma when walking through the car park which if you haven't yet cooked is a major temptation. The menu includes mauch of the usual chinese meals and much the same price as everywhere else. If you like something a little bit different though I would recommend the Salt & Pepper Chicken (Dry). Delicious! Make sure though that you order a peking sauce to pour over your rice just to moisten things a bit. Having ordered from here more times than I can remember I have never been once been disappointed. And the fact it takes a while to get through if pre-ordering by phone suggests that many locals like it to.
