THE BILL MADE AS MUCH SENSE AS THE BT TELEPHONE BILL.

IT WAS THE FIRST TIME EVER I HAVENT LEFT A TIP.

IN A WORD AVOID!

This Asian restaurant is a little different - downstairs is the teppanyaki section ... the chef cooks your chosen food on a hotplate which is situated in the middle of your set of tables! He involves you in the cooking process by making you catch various pieces of food he throws at you in your mouth. Interesting!

Upstairs is a more traditional restaurant, and has a very extensive menu incorporating Chinese, Japanese & Thai food. There's something for everyone!

The staff are always eager to help (without being too forward!), and always have a smile on their face. I think this makes your time in Yen much more relaxed and enjoyable.

Fantastic little place - shame it's quite difficult to get to without a car!

Yen is an interesting place. It is a Chinese, Thai and Japanese all mixed in to one.

Down-stairs are several teppanyaki "tables". For those that don't know teppanyaki is a fun way to eat. You sit around a hot place with your friends and the chef prepares your food in front of you, usually showing of his culunary skills by juggling omelette or something similar. The menu here is quite limited in that you have to choose from a selection of meats and then it is a set meal, but it is excellent food and entertainment all rolled in to one.

Up-stairs is a more traditional restaurant. It is quite a big room, and gets pretty busy at the weekend, but it's a lovely place nonetheless. The staff make you feel very welcome and it feels very homely, even given the size of the room. The menu in the main restaurant allows you to pick from a range of Chinese, Thai or Japanese dishes, all of which are excellent.
