I use this place to meet friends for a brilliant lunch-time meal (less than a fiver a head for such a godd, fresh, tasty meal).

We order at the counter. The food is well priced, very tasty and we never wait long for it to be brought to the table.

There is a set menu for under a fiver, but there are many interesting dishes posted on the wall - with prices, so you won't ever be shocked.

I am from Houston (home of great authentic Asian Food) and I find that Hong Kong Express on Sauchiehall Street is the Best Chinese Food in Glasgow! It is situated towards the tail end of the city center part of Sauchiehall Street. We were greeted by very friendly staff who were happy to recommend their favorite dishes. One of these dishes was a tofu and fried fish dish. Absolutely brilliant!!! We also had prawn gyoza with a lovely dipping sauce. These are gently steamed and then fried to give a crunchy, moist taste. Another dish to try would be duck soup with noodles. A great accompaniment to the other dishes, as it refreshes your pallet in between bites!
They also offer a great range of traditional asian drinks.

There are many other great dishes to be sampled at Hong Kong Express and just one of the many reasons why we go back as often as possible.

A must for enthusiasts of the cuisine !!!
