Reviews for The 13th Note Cafe

A Glasgow institution. Great veggie & vegan grub, excellent sounds and friendly staff. Don't go expecting designer furniture and decor. The place is a bit shabby but that just adds to the character.

This place is amazing! friendly, smiley staff who serve great veggie food and bar tapas! Also an excellent if intimate venue for all types of bands.

13th Note is somewhere I often go for dinner and a drink before going to a gig in the nearby Barrowlands. The restaurant area in the back is usually pretty busy but I’ve always managed to get a table as soon as I arrive. The menu is all vegetarian with a lot of vegan options too and the food is simply wonderful. My favourites are the potato, mozzarella and broccoli croquettes, the burgers (they’re lovely) and the cheesecake (also lovely, extremely lovely). Prices are very reasonable and service always seems to come with a smile. There’s also a bar area, and they have gigs downstairs.

If you are looking for something a bit different then the 13th note cafe might be the palce for you. In the evening there are frequently live music events or djs playing something new and different. Upstairs is the more casual cafe car area while downstairs is a the cool and funky dance floor. This is not like your mainstream pubs or clubs playing cheesy pop or boring old 'classics' it is a little bit unique. The 13th note is well worth a visit and even if it turns out to be not your thing it is well worth the experience. Chilled out and very comfortable with itself, the 13th note has to be seen and experienced.
