    A Delight!

Cranberry's is located in Glasgow's resurgent Merchant City, an area awash with restaurants, bars and trendy shops. Happily, Cranberry's concentrates on traditional food, and although it's in a modern building, had gone for a more traditional look, but avoids looking old fashioned.

I had Haggis, Neeps and Tatties, (Neeps is mashed turnip, tatties is mashed potatoes) - a traditional Scottish dish and it was really delicious. I won't describe Haggis here, suffice to say that it tastes better than it sounds! My friend had a simple smoked salmon salad, but the sheer generosity of the portions made it really stand out as did the avoidance of rocket in the salad!

A wide variety of puddings included large slices of Apple and Blueberry Pie, lemon torte and various tray bakes.

The service was very friendly, what struck me most was that the place ran like clockwork. It was interesting just to take a step back and watch how the staff went about their jobs, and the teamwork that went with it.

I had a great lunch in Cranberry's, it was by far my favourite venue in Glasgow.
