Reviews for All Bar One
We just popped in for a quick bite after a hard day at the shops and spent a very nice hour. The place was very busy and we joined a nearly full table already enjoying their afternoon. Once we were noticed by the staff the service was good, the menu was interesting and had a good selection. The food arrived quickly and the skewers were tasty, the choice of drinks was good, the price was good. All an all - a good meal. There was a mix of people in, some eating / drinking and some just drinking.
We have eaten there once before about a year ago in the evening this time, all of the above applies to that visit as well.
One of the good things about All Bar One is that it has huge floor to ceiling windows and it's right on the pavement of a really busy street so it's a good place to sit, drink, and people-watch. It gets pretty busy with straight-after-work people (as opposed to the ones who are gay-while-at-work I suppose!). A bit expensive, but it's the city centre after all.
The selection of beers is actually pretty good, including some Belgian fruit beers (like Kriek) and various decent lagers (Krusovice etc) all on draught, and I can heartily recommend their food. Nice comfy sofas upstairs, and a good view out the upstairs windows down to the street below.
