Finishing an early shift (0600hrs - 1400hrs), getting on an underground train to Hillhead, buying a newspaper, buying Guinness in Jinty's, and sitting outside watching the world go by. This is pretty well all I miss about working shifts, apart from the 20% shift allowance I was paid of course!
As you might tell from the picture, it's a popular place and rightly so. It's also straight across from the Ashoka Ashton Lane (literally just outside the picture on the right hand side) so I've lost count how many times a quick drink in Jinty's has led to a quick curry in the Ashoka, entirely due to the smell coming from the kitchens!
