This Pizza Hut is inside of the metro centre it is located on the bottom floor next to the cinema. Whenever i walk past there always seems to be a que outside and in my experience it cant take quite a while to go down, The food is as any other pizza hut and the service we received was good however there was a long wait for the food, if you go for the buffet option it would probably be better at this particular busy restaurant as you can help yourself more or less straight away. As with all Pizza Huts the price is a bit steep for pizzas on their own but some good sharing or buffet deals can be found.

OK so I might just have caught this particular Pizza Hut having a bad day but I cannot thinks of anything positive about this restaurant. Firstly, we were made to queue at the door for 15 minutes, despite being able to see at least a dozen empty seats through the window! Also, Pizza hut were running a promotion whereby patrons would receive 50% off their bill so that may have encouraged more customers than usual to dine that particular night.
Nonetheless, I found the service poor although the food was of the standard you come to expect from Pizza Hut. My husband asked for salad with his meal, it didn't arrive as the waitress forgot about it! It's a pity her forgetfulness didn't extend to the bill as they tried to charge us for it!
All in in, it's a Pizza hut so the food is reasonable enough but the service is poor. On a positive note, it is better than the nearby Wetherspoons!

This pizzahut restaurant is dreadful. the staff are rude, unhelpful and quite frankly nasty! i have dined in this restaurant on 2 occasions and i will never do so again. on both occasions we recieve the wrong order. then have to wait another 20 minutes to recieve the correct order. the drinks were flat and tasted a bit like cleaning fluid (i'm sure they had cleaned the lines but not rinsed them properly) we complained and asked for discount only to be told we got our food so its full price. I was paying by card and the 'waitress' tried to take my card away out of my sight, but in this age of credit card theft i like to see it at all times. so i asked her for the card back and i would take it to the till and she refused, saying i could stand next to the till for security purposes. i complained through their website and thankfully was given £15 vouchers to use at any pizzahut so we went to the take away in sunderland instead. much nicer!

What can i say about this Pizza Hut? It's exactly that, a Pizza Hut. In my experience, most Pizza Huts are the same with very little to distinguish them from each other. The great thing about this one though is that it is located in a great place. The Metro Centre, Europe's largest shopping a leisure centre is home to hundreds of shops, bars and cafes and Pizza Hut is one of them. It is (at the time of writing this) located right next to the Odeon Cinemas. This is excellent because it allows you to go for a meal before your film with no chance of being late. If it was at the other side of the Metro Centre then, due to the size of the place, it would likely be possible to be late for your film. The food's good, the staff are friendly and it's in a great location.
