Buffet King is a relatively new addition to the MetroCentre restaurants, only opening about a year ago. Situated on the edge of The Studio (the old Meditteranean Village), it's a large, clean restaurant, with a modern style. The eat-all-you-can idea is a good one, as the nearest Chinese buffet is in Newcastle City Centre. There's plenty of seating in the restaurant and the staff are all friendly. There's always a queue for this place, which just goes to show its popularity, but the food is well worth the wait. For an all you can eat place, the food is fo very good quality, with a good range of dishes available. The dessert section is particularly good, with a wide range of options, including cake, fruit and ice-cream. For the more health-concious among us, there's a large salad bar, and lots of vegetarian dishes. The range of food is really good, definitely worth a visit.
