This is my favourite pub within walking distance of my house! it's in a nice setting, across the road from Titchfield abbey, and on the banks of the canal, with a good sized beer garden out the back which is always busy in the summer!
The decor on the inside is very nice - quite traditional, with lots of pictures of fish and other fishing related things.
The menu is a good pub menu, and the food is also decent pub grub. I have found that the dishes on the specials...

The decor on the inside is very nice - quite traditional, with lots of pictures of fish and other fishing related things.
The menu is a good pub menu, and the food is also decent pub grub. I have found that the dishes on the specials menu are not quite as good as the rest of the menu though.
