Reviews for Shauls Bakery
When I'm on the run and need a sandwich in town I find the best place is Shaul Bakery. I go to the one at the top of South Street but I have also been to the Sidwell Street shop and they are also good. They have quite a good choice of traditional fillings so nothing fancy and if they don't have what you want they are always happy to make a fresh one. The ingrediants are fresh and taste great too. They are normally around £2 for a sandwich, little bit more for a sub like roll which is BIG...
This is a traditional Bakers with the usual breads, cakes, pasties and sandwiches for sale there is a small few tables and chairs in the shop area and a small room upstairs as well. A good selection of meals served from 8.30 throughout the day until closing time at 5.00pm. Their breakfasts are extremely good, bacon is good quality and not particularly fatty. Good prices as well. The staff are very friendly and cheerful. It is possible to seat children but no highchair and little room for a stroller has to be squeezed down the side of the table. They also do take away Breakfast Baps which are well done and keep nice and hot if not going too far ! The shop is light and airy and in the middle of a shopping street.
