Ordered a fillet steak from the specials menu. It was fatty ,gristly and chewy no way a fillet steak. My husbands rump was tough also. Will be a long time before we return.

We often go to the Rubbing House and we have always had a great meal as I understand from most of the Waiter's the food is bought in fresh the team are all very nice and attentive.

A BLACKBOARD OUTSIDE THE BUILDING LISTS ITS MANY RULES OF ENTRY, ONE OF WHICH WAS NO PUSHCHAIRS. REALLY IT SHOULD JUST SAY CHILDREN NOT WELCOME WHICH WAS OUR EXPERIENCE.

WAITRESS WAS RUDE AND DISINTERESTED AND THE FOOD WAS OVERPRICED AND REALLY BADLY COOKED. I WAS SHOCKED TO PAY MEDIUM RANGE PRICES FOR 'CANTEEN' TYPE FOOD. I HAVE SINCE READ MANY OTHER REVIEWS SAYING THE SAME. I REALLY WISH I HAD LOOKED AT THE REVIEWS BEFORE SPENDING MY MONEY THERE.
