The Barley's been open for about 200 years, and has a nice english pub feel. In Summer you can drink out front and watch cricket on "the mow".
The food is reasonable but usual pub food. Prices are at the higher end of Mid, but nothing outlandish.
One downside is that they sometimes host the local teenager with fake ids, and some of the louder arts students from nearby RHUL.
