I went to this place last night after it being recommended by several friends and it lived up to expectations!
The menu is handwritten, but in english. I had scallops with chorizo and salsa which was devine - but my scallops were roe-less where as my friend had them - bit inconsistent!
Main was a succulent confit of duck with mushrooms. Super tasty and the duck skin was perfectly crisp.
Dessert was a wonderful baked vanilla and honey cheesecake. It was lovely but the base was sponge - not too nice and not what I expect from a cheesecake!
Service was friendly, if a bit slow for such a quiet evening. Decor is lovely - cosy yet bright. Toilets clean. It's very reasonably priced too. £4-5 for starter, £10-14 main and £4 for dessert. We had a nice bottle of Pinot Noir at £19. Noy ideal for veggies though as only mains were meat or fish.
Overall, despite a few minor niggles , it was a terrific meal and I'll definitely go back.
