Our stunning new restaurant is on Newhaven Harbour in an old fish market dating back to the 1890s. There is still an act...

    Don't believe the hype... this chain seafood restaurant has a very overpriced and unimaginative menu. It might be located beside the sea, but don't think that means you'll get any of the view.

    Myself and two other diners (we all had a disappointingly small portion of oysters each) suffered from food poisoning and missed a collective 5 days of work.

    If you want good seafood, I'd suggest you head toward Leith...

    hmmm, head to Leith you say?

    You do realise that LochFyne IS in Leith?

    Sorry to say, but having read a few of your "reviews" I'm convinced you are a paid reviewer.

    @theTeacher Lochfyne is much closer to Granton... Leith is still a 15 minute walk away to the East, and the seafood area of Leith is most certainly along the river. I'm pleased that you think my reviews are of a professional quality!

    @fommil,

    ach I'll not argue with you. It's quite evident what your role is. Good luck with your enterprise.

    @theTeacher I wish they did pay me! I don't see how it would skew my reviews if they did... many listings (The List or This Is London for example) do have professional reviewers and are very good resources for finding good places to eat (sometimes a little too good, as the entire population locks to the latest top tip!).

    I prefer hearing from people with my own tastes, rather than a professional who can write well but we may have diametrically opposed opinions on what is good to eat. That's why I use TP.
