I'm from glasgow, but I go out in Edinburgh on a regular basis.
I stayed in few serviced apartments in Edinburgh before, like Canon Court apartments, which are very good as well, but recently I tried Hot-el Apartments and I have to say they are very good. Apartments are pretty much brand new, staff is very nice, easy to book in, easy to deal with, gave me a great deal.
What they have, that other serviced apartments didn't have when I stayed with them is the cafe. Might seem like nothing, but when you wake up in the morning (mid afternoon :) ) after night a night out, and have an option of a panini and a coffee made for you, you have to take advantage.

Anyways, the apartments were clean, everything was where it should be and how it should be, and the price was right.

We were lucky enough to get an apartment with a balcony and waterfront view, which was brilliant (what can i say, I love water, it's soooo relaxing).

I would recommend this to everyone. It's roughly about 10 minute taxi ride and cost me £8 on Saturday night. But on the bright side you get peace and quite and again the views!!!!! AMAZING!!!
